Overview
Coolum State High School's Junior Dance Troupe is an energetic and supportive performance team open to students of all skill levels in year 7-9. Our Dance Group provides an inclusive environment where students can build their technique, confidence and creativity while developing skills across a range of dance styles.
Rehearsals
Students meet weekly during lunch breaks to participate in skill workshops and rehearsals, where they refine their performance abilities, explore choreography and work collaboratively as part of a team.
No audition is required. Students of all experience levels and abilities are encouraged to join.
Throughout the year, the Junior Dance Troupe performs at events including dance eisteddfods, the Time to Shine Dance Eisteddfod, school assemblies and other school celebrations.
Levies and uniforms
There is no fee to join this program. Students are required to purchase dance tights for performances and eisteddfods.
