Coolum State High School is a co-educational school which was established in 1985 and has grown steadily to the current enrolment of approximately 1524 students.
Coolum State High School is a friendly community school which embraces the underlying culture of care, respect and excellence, offering a comprehensive curriculum and co and extra curricula activities from Years 7 to 12.
The school is located in the Sunshine Coast Region midway between the Maroochy and Noosa Rivers. It is situated 3 kilometres north of the Coolum Beach township in an idyllic setting, bordered on three sides by national park and is in close proximity to the beach. The school enrolment catchment includes not only the Coolum Beach community but south to Marcoola, north to Marcus Beach and the communities west to Yandina Creek and Verrierdale.
