A number of subjects include school organised excursions and school camps, which enable the students to go to various locations to enhance their coursework. These excursions are fully supervised by school teachers and staff.
Examples of day trips include:
- Australia Zoo (Theme Park with Australian native animals and other world animals)
- Eumundi Markets (local authentic arts, crafts, food and other merchandise)
- Art Museums (Brisbane)
- Brisbane Exhibition (showcasing Queensland produce and agriculture)
- Point Cartwright Beach area (Biology Studies)
- University of the Sunshine Coast (Careers Expo and special subjects)
Weekend camps are especially scheduled for international students by ISP school staff. The trips include school staff supervision and are approved travel. A variety of school based tourist related trips are discussed with the international students at the beginning of their study period, and will vary from term to term, based upon demand and interest.

- Lady Musgrave Island
