The school operates a Student Resource Scheme (SRS) under Education Queensland guidelines. The Scheme aims to provide all students with the necessary basic textbooks and associated learning materials at considerable savings to parents, through the school’s bulk purchasing processes.
Parents have a choice of either joining the Scheme OR privately purchasing all the various textbooks, novels and other materials, as well as paying for all other items included in the Scheme.
Should you decide not to join the Scheme and wish to calculate the cost, please use relevant SRS Subject Requirements Lists.
Parents/carers who do not wish to participate in the SRS must contact the school and make an appointment with the Business Manager within two weeks of the beginning of the school year, or at the time of enrolment.
The parent/carer is then responsible for providing all necessary textbooks and resources. You will also be invoiced for direct school supplies that are required under the Scheme. You are expected to provide all necessary textbooks and resources provided by the school, for your children as detailed on the Subject Requirement Lists.
The Student Resource Scheme Participation Agreement Form is included in the Enrolment Application Package and must be signed indicating that you are not participating in the Scheme.
To ensure active participation in class, parents are requested to discuss with the Principal how resources will be provided so learning is optimised.
