P&C

Coolum State High School’s P&C Association meets on the third Monday of each month at 6.30pm in the Common Room of the Administration Building. Although certain protocols must be observed, meetings are conducted in a friendly, light hearted manner, and new members are always received with a very warm welcome.

The P&C is responsible for the School Canteen with all profits being directed back to support the school as a whole.

The school is also the recipient of funds which are raised by supporting local businesses through their loyalty program, and stationery packs purchased at the newsagents listed on the stationery requirements forms.

Your P&C Association is comprised of a small number of parents who choose to contribute two hours of their time once a month to benefit the students at Coolum High.

P&C Meetings are held the third Monday or each month.  All parents are welcome, and encouraged, to attend.

2018 P&C Executive

Nicole Sklenars - President

I am very honoured to be serving as your new P&C President for the year ahead.  There are exciting plans for 2018 and beyond and it is fantastic to be working alongside such a passionate and engaged committee.

As a mother of three children at the school, and another not too far away, I am excited about supporting and contributing to the new vision of Coolum State High School.  It has come such a long way since my husband was here in the 1990's and has an amazing journey ahead.

Monica Kutt - Vice-President

My family moved to Coolum Beach from Melbourne at the beginning of 2017 to take over the Management Rights of Coolum Baywatch Resort.

With my son now in Year 7, I am excited to be involved with the P&C and support a growing and thriving school.

I was a teacher for over 20 years and still love school community and know the importance of working together. In this way, we can achieve great things for this school as it nurtures and educates our children, in partnership with us, as parents.

Suzette Warnes - Treasurer

Although I am originally a Bundaberg girl, we moved to Peregian Springs late last year from Sydney and have embraced the Coolum/Peregian community.  With my son in Year 8 and my daughter in Year 7, I am really excited to be a part of this incredibly positive and innovative high school.

I work for a Sydney Multi-Media company as Medical Coordinator, working with Service Agreements/Invoicing and have held various accounts roles in the past.  I also volunteer for Coast Care in turtle research.

Nolly Griffiths - Secretary

I am sure most of you have seen me about in my role as Business Manager at Coolum State High School.  However, my passion for giving to the community and being involved in fundraising and the P&C has lead me to join the 2018 CSHS P&C Committee as Secreary.

I am already involved in the Coolum Primary School P&C where my daughter attends Year 4.

I am looking forward to help build the contribution of the P&C Committee as the new direction and exciting future of Coolum High lies ahead.
