Students commence school based traineeships

28/03/2014

It has been a busy start to the year with students commencing school based traineeship.  Eight Coolum High students were successful in gaining a position at Coolum Surf Club along with two students at Underwater World Mooloolaba.  All students are very excited about this opportunity and are looking forward to learning new skills and gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

Again this year, the High School Health Care Engagement Program is running at the Nambour Hospital.  This program is open to Year 10 students to apply if they have an interest in a career as a health care employee.  The two days, on either 15 and 16 May OR 24 and 25 July provides an insight, knowledge and a better understanding of the roles of health care professionals.  Please discuss with your child and encourage them to apply.  Application forms are available from me at the school.
