On behalf of the Coolum High School Parents and Citizens Association I welcome you to Coolum High and to coolumshs.eq.edu.au. As the photographs on this website attest, Coolum High is beautifully situated, surrounded by Noosa National Park.
Over the past four years we have come to appreciate the hard work of our principals, students, teachers and staff. We know our school is special on the inside too.
The essential roles of the P and C are to manage the canteen and the uniform shop. The P and C Association has endeavoured to provide healthy food at reasonable prices. We are able to maintain the quality and value with the help of volunteers. We can always use more volunteers. Please help if you can.
Other P and C contributions include:
· $20 000.00 for purchase of school furniture
· $50 000.00 Investing in Our Schools Grant
· $2 000.00 School Chaplaincy
· Academic, Sport and Arts support for students reaching State or National levels (up to $100 State and $200 National)
P and C meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 7:00pm in the Common Room at Coolum State High School. All are welcome, and remember, you are more likely to learn something great about our school than you are to get a job you don’t want!
