Coolum State High School is located in the Sunshine Coast District midway between the Maroochy and Noosa Rivers. It services an area from Pacific Paradise in the south to Peregian in the north and west to Valdora. (View map)
Coolum High is situated three kilometres north of the Coolum township and is isolated from suburban areas. It is set in natural scrub land and native gardens surround and intrude on all buildings. Adjacent to the school property is a reserve of Wallum scrub. Native animals frequent the school grounds. The school has developed an Environmental Park with a pond and walkways.
