House System Print
What is it?
The House system is not just about sport. All extra-curricular involvement in school activities (leadership, cultural, sport and academic) contributes to personal and house points. The top 5 points getters in each house will be awarded a House Hero certificate at the end of the year. Each student will get a letter with their final report outlining their extra-curricular involvement.

Who?
  • The home group you are in each morning indicates the house to which you belong, ie. If you are in a “B” homegroup (eg. 8B1) – Binyama; if you are in a “C” homegroup (eg. 9C2) – Carcoola; “W” homegroup ( eg. 10W1) – Warringa; “Y” homegroup (11Y2) – Yuroka
  • After a nomination process, House Leaders have been appointed to each house:
Binyama:
Carcoola:
Warringa:
Yuroka:
The Houses, Logos and Colours
The names of our houses are derived from words given to environmental features in the area by the local Aboriginal Kabi tribe:
